To amend title II of the Social Security Act to waive, for 5 years, the 24-month waiting period for medicare eligibilty on the basis of a disability in the case of individuals with acquired immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS), and for other purposes.

Provides Medicare coverage of experimental AIDS treatment which is in accord with recognized clinical protocol.
